How You Can Help
Our mission is to spread the word of rugby to all kids in the West Chester, PA area. In doing this, we try to keep the direct fees as low as possible so all kids, regardless of socioeconomic background, can experience this incredible sport. In the event our fees do impose a significant economic burden, we offer scholarships to all in need so that all can participate.
Along with these scholarships, the Club's costs cover equipment, uniforms, insurance, coaches' training, as well as medical staff, referees, and refreshments during the match.
We are an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organization so your donation is tax deductible and we appreciate any amount you would be willing to provide.
Another way you can help cover the cost of spreading rugby around West Chester while also gaining some valuable promotional opportunity in the community is through a sponsorship. Shortly, we offer several different levels of sponsorship but for now, just contact us and we can easily work with you to determine what would work best for both your business and the Club.
While we may need funds to keep our Club going, just as important is effort. We are all volunteers, who love and enjoy this sport, but we have families and jobs so, despite our best efforts, the time we get to spend teaching children the joys of rugby is limited.
And we know you have plenty of time limitations as well. But, if you would like to donate some of your valuable time for the kids, there are numerous ways you can help. We need Board members and if you don't want such a formal role we need help with fundraising, promotion, field prep, photography and videography, organizing post-match refreshments for us and opponents (another cool rugby tradition), website maintenance, and social media, to name a few.
Same as with players, there is no experience, rugby or otherwise, necessary to help out the Club. All are welcome!
